What's new across the PubPulse apps
Changes 10 – 30 September 2026
Three weeks on from our last update, and the PubPulse apps have kept moving. Here are the highlights.
RotaPulse
Holidays and leave, sorted
The big one this month. RotaPulse now handles staff holidays from start to finish. Set each person’s annual allowance and see at a glance what they’ve taken and what’s left. Staff can request full or half days by leave type, and they’re told straight away when it’s approved or declined. Block out dates when nobody can be off — Christmas week, say — or book leave for the whole team in one go. Each person has a full leave history, and you can add the holidays they took before you started using RotaPulse, so the figures are right from day one.
Payroll, ready when you are
A new payroll summary shows each person’s hours and pay for the period, with a grand total for all staff, and paid holiday is now included. It also says clearly what the totals leave out, so nothing catches you out when you pass the figures to your accountant.
Tidier day to day
Late shifts that run past midnight now clock out properly, job roles that are no longer used can be retired without losing their history, and a shift that already has recorded hours is protected, so clearing the week can’t wipe what staff actually worked.
PricePulse
Orders, one step better
When you send an order, PricePulse now tells you exactly how it went and where — email, or your tick list for the phone. Supplier emails are cleaner, and your delivery address sits in Settings so it’s on every order automatically. Naming a new product is now a tap rather than a typing job.
Straight to what matters
New subscribers now go straight to uploading their first invoice instead of an empty report, so PricePulse is showing real prices within minutes. It’s also better than ever at reading short, single-page invoices first time.
TaskPulse
TaskPulse now works properly in dark mode, which is easier on the eyes at closing time. Every venue gets a ready-made set of reasons for the red cross, so staff can explain an unfinished task in a tap, and the amend form now offers proper choices rather than free text.
DiaryPulse
A quieter few weeks for DiaryPulse. Staff no longer hit a dead end if a subscription lapses, and confirmation messages now go out only for bookings you’ve actually confirmed.
Across the whole family
Help & feedback, built in
Every PubPulse app now has a Help & feedback button. Ask a question, report something that isn’t right, or suggest an idea — it all comes through one front door. You can see where your own submissions have got to, and we’ll let you know when something you asked for is done. Your ideas really do shape what we build next.
Clearer, simpler screens
We’ve been through every screen in all four apps so each one says plainly what it does. Every app shows who you’re signed in as and what your role can do, and the Staff & access link and subscription wording are the same wherever you are. Staff and managers you’ve invited can now reset their own password without needing to ask you.
Always on
Behind the scenes, each app is now checked continuously and we’re alerted straight away if anything, including email or text messages, stops working — often before you’d notice.
Recommend PubPulse and get rewarded
Our new affiliate programme is open. If you know other licensees, or you work with pubs as an accountant, consultant or supplier, you can earn by introducing them to PubPulse. Find out more.
What should we build next?
We’re developing new apps for the PubPulse range right now, and we want to hear from publicans. What eats up your time, or quietly chips away at your profit? If a dedicated app could make that part of running your pub easier, tell us about it at info@pubpulse.co.uk. The best ideas come from the people behind the bar.
PubPulse is moving fast, and there’s plenty more to come. In everything we do, our aim is to give pubs back their time with apps that are simple to use, economical to run, and drive up profit.
Already using PubPulse? Just press Help & feedback in any app. Everyone else, we’d love to hear from you at info@pubpulse.co.uk.
