Do I need to install anything? +
No. RotaPulse runs in any web browser on your phone, tablet or computer — nothing to download or update.
Can staff see their shifts on their phones? +
Yes. Each staff member logs in to see their own rota, request leave and ask for a shift swap. You approve swaps.
Does RotaPulse work out holiday entitlement? +
Yes. You set what a full-time year is worth and everyone else follows their own working pattern — holiday is set in weeks, not days, so somebody on two days a week gets the right allowance rather than a flat figure. Leave is recorded as paid, unpaid, sick, maternity or a day in lieu, and only paid leave comes off a balance. It doesn’t work out holiday pay: for variable hours that is a 52-week average and it belongs with whoever runs your payroll, so RotaPulse hands them the days and the hours instead.
Is my staff and pay data safe? +
Your data is yours, kept private to your venue and never shared. Pay rates are visible only to admins. See our Privacy page for the plain-English detail.
